Testosterone Undecanoate was developed for the
treatment of male hypogonadism. The FDA approved it as an injectable form only
in 2018, although it had been available in other countries for decades. Today,
it is used in sports as a long-acting testosterone preparation with rare
injection intervals. Due to strong suppression of the natural hormonal axis,
PCT is absolutely necessary. It was originally introduced in the 1970s by
Organon and mainly used in Europe.
