Letrozole
is a medication that inhibits aromatase, preventing the conversion of androgens
to estrogens. It is FDA-approved for the treatment of breast cancer in
postmenopausal women. In modern applications, it is used not only for breast
cancer treatment but also to prevent recurrence. PCT is not necessary when
using Letrozole. The drug was approved in 1997 and has since played a key role
in cancer treatment.
