Stanozolol, also known as
Winstrol, was developed in the 1960s for the treatment of anemia and received
FDA approval. Today, it is used for muscle definition and fat burning in
bodybuilding. It has a half-life of 9 hours (oral) and 24 hours (injectable). PCT
is necessary, as it slightly suppresses testosterone production. It is known
for its drying effects, which enhance muscle hardness and definition, but it
also increases the risk of hepatotoxicity.
